 PUERTO VALLARTA → SAN BLAS

The trip began in Puerto Vallarta and we traveled north along the coast to the southern end of the Sierra Madres and San Blas. Below are suggestions and photos from 4 coastal cities in Mexico that we experienced on our travels.

 BUS ROUTE

If you’re traveling on a budget then I recommend the bus system as the most efficient mode of transportation. The bus routes were fairly easy to navigate as well as affordable. As an example when we were traveling from Punta De Mita to San Pancho (30 min drive) we weighed out our options between a taxi for $30 US dollars, rental car for $85 a day, and the bus for only $1.50 – we weren’t in a big rush, so the bus was definitely the ideal option.

 @BODEGUITADELMEDIOMTY

A Cuban influenced bar and restaurant near the art district in Puerto Vallarta. If you’re looking for jazz music, salsa, culture, and authentic cuban cuisine, then I recommend La Bodeguita del Medio.
